Carterton Gymnastics Club
Website


The Club was established as a voluntary organisation over 19 years ago
and is based in Carterton, Oxfordshire, but draws artistic gymnasts
from all areas of West Oxfordshire.


We are dedicated to training young artistic gymnasts of all levels and abilities
from recreational to Elite standard and competitive squads. We currently have
100+ boys and girls aged 5 to 18 registered with the Club.
We boast a High Performance Coach, Club & Assistant Club Coaches and
Judges, all supported by a small dedicated team of volunteers.


Our aim is to offer all children the opportunity to experience gymnastics in a
safe and friendly environment with professional coaches.



Gym Club Success

The Club has been awarded the prestigious British Gymnastics
GymMark accreditation for all round excellence.

The Club is also affiliated to the Oxford County & British Gymnastics Association

Grades 14-9
Competition


Four girls from Carterton Gymnastic Club took part in the Oxfordshire Gymnastics Grades 14-9 Competition at Kingston Gymnastics Club, Milton Keynes on Sunday 25th March 2012. Amelie Meaden aged 7 took a Gold medal scoring 62.40 at level 14, her best piece being range and conditioning. Niamh Herbert, aged 9 also took a Gold at level 13 scoring 56.55. Her best piece was on vault. They both competed on vault bars, beam, floor and range and conditioning and this was their first competition. Natasha Granville aged 9 and Georgia Bishop aged 10 both competed on vault, bars, beam and floor. Natasha competed at level 12 and scored 40.25 with her best piece being on vault. Georgia competed at level 11 and took home a Silver medal with a score of 44.70 her best piece also being on vault.
